Following on from my last post (Italeri Country House With Porch) the other model I picked up from Kieran’s cancelled commission project was the Church (Italeri Kit 6129). This includes an attached (custom made) cemetery and is an outstanding model (if somewhat large). Ther design makes this primarily suited to Northern Mediterranean areas (and Southern Europe), such as Spain, Italy, and Southern France, as well as possibly Croatia, Northern Bosnia, etc, and possibly Southern Austria and the like…
With these 2 completed kits now in my arsenal it just leaves the Country House (Italeri Kit 6074) and the Station (Italeri Kit 6162) in my stockpile to be addressed – to speed things along I’ll have to get Kieran’s master skills onto those as well to help me out! I have a plan to convert the Station model into a town civic building – such as a Post Office, small Townhall, or Local Government Administration Offices – it also potentially lends itself to being converted to café (downstairs) and residential (upstairs) type building.
You can check out Kieran’s original models of the Country House (Italeri Kit 6074), Country House with Porch (Italeri Kit 6075) and Stone House (Italeri Kit 6140) from his personal collection in the previous Normandy Buildings post.
